RECORDING   STUDIO

The recording studio creates audio transcriptions of books and periodicals on media (tape, CD, downloadable files) allowing blind people the opportunity to enjoy content published on paper.

Each day, sighted volunteers donate their time to read printed publications in the studio. With the permission of the publishers, these recordings are distributed at no charge to blind clients who can now enjoy newspaper reports, magazine and periodical articles, and newly released books.  For many blind people, this is a vital link to the cultural and literary sources that they have no other access to.
