Zero Discrimination Run
May 7, 2023

On May 7th, members of the archery team participated in the first Zero Discrimination Run at the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens “Spiros Louis” (OAKA). The innovative idea of creating an archery team for the blind and partially impaired was first greeted with great disbelief, however, with dedication and will and with the help of trainers from the athletic association “KAREAS”, a strong, inspiring archery team was formed.

The unexpected appearance of a blind archery team at OAKA won the enthusiastic applause of the spectators and other participants and encouraged each of the archers. Such a warm reception at the event reinforced the initial belief that this fresh, innovative idea of archery for the blind could succeed.
